We all know that Google loves us and it is coming up with ways to make us feel secure when we are online. Now, Google is going to flag your website as not secure in the Chrome browser, if you don’t have an SSL Certificate?
In a nutshell, if your website does not have a secure cert, Google will mark it as ‘not secure’. This will apply to all websites whether they sell online or not. So if your website has a contact form or any kind of form where a visitor will enter information you’ll need an SSL certificate installed in your website.
What is SSL?
SSL encrypts the connection between the website and the visitor. It allows the visitors connection to be private.
